You can’t beat this for a real man’s breakfast!

St Michaels Men’s Group met on 1st June 2019. This is an informal monthly meeting for men who love the Lord, food and fellowship!

Whilst the aim is not to focus on the food, it is one of Rector Martin’s favourite past times. Today’s menu was a delicious selection of fresh fruit juice, tea, coffee, toast, mielie & potato bread, bacon, scramble egg, fried onion, tomato & mushrooms, baked beans and mince chutney! Beat that for a real man’s breakfast.

The morning begins at a frisky 6am (on the dot) with the cooking crew all set and ready to get things going. At 7am sharp, breakfast is served with the offer of something to drink by one of our doulos. The breakfast table is a buzz with 20 chirpy munching men, who were expressing great concern for the Proteas and excited about the final between Liverpool and Spurs.

We were then taken down memory lane by two group members on their adventures on the Camino De Santiago.

By 8:15am we were all done and dusted and ready to take on our Saturday morning home chores!

Thanks gents for a great morning of blessed fellowship.
